E.R. - In My Sleep download free

Oh man, I don't know where to start with this one. I picked it up on a whim from Phonica in Soho, and I'm very glad I did. Apparently parts of this EP have been worked on for 10 years, and that doesn't surprise me - everything is so intricate. Sitting at an interesting juncture between deep house, thunderous tribal music and jungle with a little sprinkling of ethnic ambience, it floats into being on the back of some wordless vocal samples and dreamy percussion. A2 "In My Sleep" is a wonderful centrepiece, an epic build of jungley cross-rhythms, processed war chants and ambient, chunky guitars. "Woyene" changes things up with a skippy groove and indistinct, chopped-up vocals before fading into a quirky folkish guitar solo. The final track Hetebet is the most abrasive, yet somehow uplifting - flute trills, trancelike vocals and thunderous tribal drums. This is a really special record, unlike anything else I've ever heard. Check it out.
