This is a re-release of Hurt's self-released 2002 album The Consumation. It is packaged in a digipak case and contains no liner notes or credits.The cursive on the inside of the sleeve reads:
"You now possess the album which immediately preceded Vol. 1. It has been reassembled and re-mastered from the earliest known pieces of its predecessor 'The Consumation.' This was a long and arduous process since the ordeal this very album caused left us displaced and somewhat homeless. Still, we wanted to make this dear old album better than it was before and to not simply perpetuate the many mistakes that weren't correctable in previous form. This album was a sincere labor of love and sifting through its pieces reawakened the original feelings in more perfect clarity than I could describe by words alone. But I don't have to... To show you we are more committed than ever, take this, our 'Re-Consumation.'"
